The news isn’t short of stories. It’s short of answers.
- Headlines contradict each other. One outlet says one thing, the next says the opposite, and nobody tells you which part is proven.
- Claims get reported as facts. What a lawyer, a spokesman or a government says is printed next to what the evidence shows.
- You never learn how it ends. A story is everywhere for a week, then gone, long before the answers come in.
How we fix it: a real story

Questions
Who runs Reconstructed?
Reconstructed started as a YouTube channel that rebuilds real events in 3D (3.4M views so far). Reconstructed News is its newsroom: the same stories in writing, with every claim labeled. Questions go to info.reconstructed@gmail.com. More on the about page.
How do you label claims?
Every claim gets one of four labels: Confirmed (independently verified: an official record, or two independent newsrooms); Reported (one credible source reports it. not yet independently confirmed); Claimed (said by someone involved. not verified); Disputed (credible evidence or sources contradict it). Each claim links to its sources. When the evidence changes, the label changes and we note it on the story. The full rules are on how we label claims.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, with one click from the bottom of any of our emails. Cancel during your first month and you pay nothing more.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If you are charged and don’t want it, ask within 14 days of the charge and we refund it in full. See our refund policy.
What do I get by email?
Each new article in full when we publish it, and an update when something changes in a big story: what changed, with its label. You can read it in the email or listen to it.
Is it written by AI?
Our newsroom writes with AI help: AI tools gather and organize the sources. Then every claim must quote its evidence, and software matches that quote word for word against the saved source; a claim we can’t back up is removed. A second, independent review checks every claim and label, and stories about named people, deaths or crimes are reviewed by a person before publishing. Our narration audio and illustrations are AI-generated, and we say so.
