1. Who we are
Reconstructed is operated by BuildWithAI, LLC (“we”, “us”), 7111 W Alameda Ave, Ste J #4128, Lakewood, CO 80226, USA. You can reach us at info.reconstructed@gmail.com.
2. Reconstructed subscription
A Reconstructed subscription delivers our stories to your email: the full story you signed up for, every update to it, and every new story we cover, with all labeled claims and sources.
Price and renewal. Reconstructed is sold as a yearly subscription at $89.99 per year or a monthly subscription at $9.99 per month (plus any sales tax or VAT shown at checkout), unless a lower introductory price is clearly shown to you. Your subscription renews automatically every year (yearly plan) or every month (monthly plan) at the then-current price, and your payment method is charged at the start of each period, until you cancel. If the price for renewals changes, we’ll email you at least 30 days before your renewal, and you can cancel before it applies. We also email you a reminder before each annual renewal.
First month. New subscribers pay $1 for their first month (30 days), charged when they sign up. A payment method is required. If you don’t cancel before the first month ends, the plan you chose (yearly or monthly) starts and you are charged the price shown at sign-up on that day. We email you a reminder before then. One introductory month per person.
Cancelling. You can cancel online at any time: use the Cancel link at the bottom of any of our emails, or go to reconstructed.app/manage (enter your email and we’ll send you a one-time code). You won’t be charged again, and you keep access until the end of your first month or the period you’ve already paid for. Cancelling during your first month means you pay nothing more.
Introductory offers. Discounts (for example a reduced first year) apply only to the period stated in the offer; renewals are at the regular price.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we retry it over a few days and may pause your access until it succeeds.
3. Lifetime Pro (earlier pre-order)
Before the subscription launched, we sold Lifetime Pro as a pre-order: one payment, no renewal, access for as long as we operate Reconstructed. If you bought it, you receive everything a Reconstructed subscriber receives, by email, for as long as we operate Reconstructed, with no renewal and no further charge. The founder offer (71% off, a 10-minute countdown and a short grace period) has ended. If you reserved the founder price for free, we’ll email you, and we’ll hold the founder price of $29 for you for 7 days after that email; a reservation is not a purchase.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card statement will show RECONSTRUCTED.
4. Your account
Your subscription is tied to your verified email address. Sign in with a one-time email code to read and listen online. You can also enable story updates by email in Account; pausing emails does not cancel your subscription. Keep your email account secure and make sure the address is correct; we cannot transfer access to a different email without verifying that you own both.
5. Refunds
You can get a refund of an annual charge within 14 days of being charged. See our Refund Policy. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also have the statutory rights described there.
6. Content
Reconstructed produces news stories delivered by email, and 3D video reconstructions of real events based on official reports, archives and published reporting. They are summaries and interpretations, not legal findings, and may simplify complex events. All articles, audio, videos, images and text are owned by us or our licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable license to read, listen to and watch them; you may not copy, resell or redistribute them.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the site or our emails: no scraping, reverse engineering, sharing your account, or attempting to bypass payment. We may suspend access that breaks these rules, with a pro-rata refund where required by law. Labels describe the strength of evidence at the time of publishing (see “How we label claims” at reconstructed.app/method); they are not legal findings.
8. Age
You must be 18 or older to buy, or have the consent of a parent or guardian. Some stories cover war, terror and fatal accidents and may not be suitable for young children.
9. Liability
The site and our emails are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and material changes will be emailed to buyers. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you live.
